FOODIE REVIEW - PAPER PLANE, NICE FRANCE

I'll never visit somewhere new without researching breakfast places to head to. Before heading out to Nice, I found this wonderful place on Instagram which looked right up my street. That place was called Paper Plane; a vegan cafe focusing on fresh eating and delicious juices. We headed over one morning just after opening and was greeted by the most beautiful little place, perfectly pairing palm prints, green plants and bird paintings. I fell in love and couldn't wait to delve into the menu. Paper Plane serves breakfast until 12 and lunch thereafter until close at 3. We didn't have chance to come back and experience the lunch menu, but breakfast was delicious.
From the decor and the prints, you can instantly appreciate the passion from the owners towards healthy eating and a vegan lifestyle. The menu has one item non vegan for those who aren't that way inclined and that was an egg dish. Our day was packed full of on the go expeditions so we intended to fill up so I went for both the acai bowl and the avocado toast, yum!
The acai bowl was beyond delicious, I wolfed it down pretty quickly! Full of goodness, granola and my favourite blueberries, if I could have this every morning I would in a heartbeat.
The menu had a good variety of dishes dependent on how hungry you are, and even just to opt for a drink and somewhere to chill, this is the perfect place. It's totally inspired me on the style of decor to have in my kitchen, it's so clean and light. I'm not personally vegan nor vegetarian, however the menu was totally delicious and not something which is only limited to those who are. I would highly recommend visiting here. France may be well known for their delicious pastry's but in the heat in Nice, something like this is so much more up my street, if only I had one here in Cornwall!
