Next stop on our little adventure was Barcelona. I was so excited to head to the beautiful city of Barcelona and it didn't disappoint. Entering the city has such a cool and exciting vibe along with stunning cultural and gothic designed architecture. As we had a hire car, we hoped in and drove a few hours down the road and parked up in central, we only had a few hours to take in the surroundings but we did manage to see the Cathedral, Arc De Triomf and the break taking Park Güell.
A little bit of advise when visiting the Cathedral, I went in an a-line mini and cold shoulder blouse but wasn't allowed in *woops!* Take a loose cover up and some cotton trousers with you just incase!
After exploring the city, including a lengthy stroll around the most amazing Sephora (!!) bargain hunting in the Zara sale and a casual Starbucks (classic brits abroad!) we headed out to the breath taking Park Güell. Park Güell offers the most amazing views across Barcelona along with colourful and quirky architecture and sculptures by Gaudi. Definitely recommend a visit, for eight euros you can go inside the building pictured below, but as a tip, you get some cracking views without paying!
First day back to reality of the 9-5 today and I want to go back to this beautiful place so bad! I would love to spend more time in Barcelona and really explore those hidden streets and delicious food places but for now, i'll keep staring lovingly at the views from the Parc!
